Component Overview of self-regulating and power-limiting heating cable system

The JBS-100 kit is designed to connect power to one Raychem BTV, QTVR, XTV, KTV or VPL industrial parallel heating cable. It is approved by FM, CSA, and PTB for use in haz ard ous locations. The JBS-100 integrates the functions of both connection kits and insulation en tries. The rugged stand protects the heat ing cable and allows for up to 100 mm (4") of thermal insulation. The core sealing boot does not re quire a heat gun or torch for the in stal la tion (no hot work permit necessary). The non-curing sealant (silicone free) in the boot al lows easy installation and fa cil itates maintenance.
